Production computer: Turn on monitor (in front of the key board) then go to the bottom right of the computer screen an push the first button on the right corner
When you open up the computer screen open up the tricaster (gray icon) then go to open (green button) and click on Palmer News Network then click “Start live production”
After you do that you have to do a sound check. First you have to plug in the cord to your right and it is the last cord and the plug in is circular. Then go to the sound button click on it and you’ll see a list of songs. Double click any song and it will start to play. Once it starts to play go to the projector box left of the DVD. Click the button that says “on” and the click on VCR/DVD, which is above the white red and yellow cords. Wait until you here the music and see the picture on the screen. If it is fuzzy make sure you plugged the cord in tightly.
Then you unplug the cord.
REMEMBER ONCE THE CORD IS PLUGGED IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL CAN SEE WHAT IS ON THE PROGRAM SCREEN ON THE COMPUTER.
Anchor checklist:
Anchor 1: Go to the office to pick up any new announcements from the clipboard.
Anchor 2: confirm with guest anchors that they are coming
Anchor 3: Proofread the script as the teleprompter types it. You will have to sit out if there are any guest anchors
Teleprompter:
Type the script and be sure to divide up the announcements evenly between the student anchors for the day. You will run the script during the show

You will run the video during the rehearsal and during the live show. This includes displaying the flag video
Sound:
You will run sound during the rehearsal and during the live show. You are responsible for PLUGGING IN THE CABLES TO MAKE US GO LIVE.
Bystander:
You will be responsible for turning on the classroom projector and to lower the screen. You will
tell production if the sound and video are working correctly.
